My brother and sisters and I spent many summer days there back in the 80s. I have never gotten over the fact that a stupid corporation tore down while it was still making money. Just Greedy Corporations! Now it’s just parking lot for Rodeo. That’s stupid!
Went to Astroworld 2 weeks before it opened to the public. HISD had a Senior Day and all the seniors and one guest were invited. It was awesome!! Had a wonderful time until getting in the Teacup Ride!! ? The wooden Rollercoaster was awesome! It’s a shame we have to tear down everything special that has been built! Even got to usher at the Astrodome when Elvis was at the Rodeo! Wonderful memories.
