The Texans have finally found their new General Manager. Brian Gaine from the Bills is set to become the new General Manager of the Houston Texans after reaching an agreement today. The Texans had Gaine as their favorite all along and decided to close the deal today, rather than wait for the Patriots or the Eagles to lose in the playoffs to have a chance at interviewing some of their top guys.
The Texans decided to play it safe and make sure they could lock up their top prospect before other teams got the chance too. The Texans played their cards and tried to interview the other team's top guys, but in doing this they would have to wait until the teams are out of the playoffs, and their willingness to move teams and accept a GM job. The Texans were smart to lock their guy up now with the NFL Draft and Free Agency right around the corner, things were going to start getting wild. The Texans needed a GM now, and they filled the position with a friendly face that was here until the 2016 season. Bill O'Brien reportedly wanted this signing to happen as well as this will allow him to help with Personnel changes. More information will be added as the story develops, but it looks like the Texans have found their guy.
