Report: O'Brien or Smith To Be Fired At End Of Season

Posted by Devon Bennett on

Texans have a big decision to make at the end of the season this year. The Texans have a head coach and General Manager who are reportedly going at it and are not co-existing as well as expected. This season was a lost cause the second JJ Watt and Whitney Mercilus went down within minutes of the same game, and when we lost Deshaun Watson. The Texans have a bright future for sure and have the tools necessary to be a contender if they stay healthy. Although, there is one thing, Bill O’Brien or Rick Smith will most likely lose...

Bill O'Brien and Watson are a pair that should stay together

Posted by Devon Bennett on

Bill O’Brien will be in the last year of his contract that he signed in 2014 to the end of the 2018-19 season. His 4th year as the Houston Texans head coach hasn’t been the greatest year for him. Despite losing 11 games so far, and losing most of his playmakers on offense and defense, he has managed to show some bright spots throughout the year with Watson and his fast-paced offense around him.             Watson is a star so far, and it’s not all him making himself look like that out. James Harden has been excellent the past two games that CP3 and Capela have been out. Luc has been dealing with his shoulder injury still, and his timetable is still around 2 more weeks. CP3 is day to day according to Mike D’Antoni alongside Capela. Harden is the second player in history to lose back to back games after dropping over 50 in those games. Wilt Chamberlain is the other player...

Clowney & Hopkins Are Headed to the 2018 Pro Bowl

Posted by Devon Bennett on

Today the NFL announced the players who would be at the NFL Pro Bowl to represent their teams, and the two players everyone expected to go after their amazing seasons this year are Jadeveon Clowney and DeAndre Hopkins. Both have had tremendous seasons together this year and have been the highlight of such a horrible year for the Texans in general after the injuries that have plagued this team all season long. The surprising thing is we expected Clowney to do better with the team on his back and being the lone man on defense, but with Hopkins, we expected...

CP3 Is Your Western Conference Player Of The Week!

Posted by Devon Bennett on

Chris Paul has been named the Western Conference Player of the Week from Monday, December 11th to Sunday, December 17th as the team went 4-0 in this span from huge play from CP3 and Harden. While Harden had an “off-week” (an off week for Harden, but for any other player it would be a decent week), CP3 came up for the team especially when he was paired with the second unit when Harden and some starters went to sit.             As I said last week, CP3 and the second unit area historic bunch, which if you want more in-depth analysis,...
